Gill Meyne & Family Learning

Gill is the manager of the Family Learning team.

Family Learning courses encourage family members to learn together. They have two main aims:

• to develop the skills or knowledge of the parent/carer and the child
• to help parents/carers to support their children's learning and development more actively with greater confidence, and to understand and to understand why that support is important

Most of our courses are targeted courses for language,literacy and numeracy support. They run each term in schools, children's centres and other community settings across the city and are taught by a highly qualified peripatetic team of adult tutors and primary specialists.
