Lindi Galloway 14-19 Development Consultant

Lindi's role is to:

• Advise and assist schools and colleges to develop and enhance the vocational educational opportunities available in the city.
• Advise and support the 14-19 Curriculum Group on the development of vocational learning.
• Support the development and functioning of local consortia formed to plan for the delivery of the Diploma in 2008.
• Be accountable for vocational curriculum developments to the 14-19 Partnership Board.
• Work closely with LSC to develop a curriculum offer that meets the needs of learners and skills requirements of the City’s employers.
• Advise LSC and CYPT colleagues about issues and opportunities arising in the 14-19 phase by linking with local/regional/national bodies .
• Lead on the development of a vocationally focused Professional development programme for schools and college staff.
• Facilitate training within the professional development programme in appropriate areas.
