Key Activities

These include:

• Generating partnership projects that develop and deliver the recommendations of the post OfSTED Action Plan for 14 - 19 educational activities.
• Improving workforce development initiatives, including increased collaboration between training providers in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
• Working effectively and collaboratively with other agencies, including Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Skills for Life Development Centre and Jobcentre Plus, to increase the quantity and quality of Skills for Life provision.
• Raising the quality and standard of provision, and building capacity within specialist community, voluntary and commercial learning provision by showcasing examples of good practice.
• Building closer links and enabling further collaborative work within all sectors that develop innovative ICT and e-learning activities.
