Prehistoric Brighton & Hove
A walking tour exploring archaeology and shamanic consciousness
Led by archaeologist Lisa Jayne Fisher and Anthropology of Magic author Susan Greenwood, the tour will include the graveyard of St Nicolas church and the Old Steine where stones that form the base of the fountain are thought to have originally come from a stone circle. Lisa will discuss the importance of Brighton in the Prehistoric period, looking at ritual and domestic sites from the Neolithic period up to the Roman invasion and Susan will lead the group through an introduction to the techniques of shamanic consciousness, and a meditative exploration of these ancient sites.
