RARPA
Recognising and Recording Progression and Achievement in non-accredited learning (RARPA) is a key development in the way that we measure and record how people are learning.
The LSC have recently published a "for action" paper exploring and explaining the roll-out of RARPA.
The initiative Started in September 2005 and Learning & Skills Council funded providers of non-accredited learning are expected to include a RARPA implementation plan in their three-year development plans.
In the future other organisations may wish to adopt the quality initiative as it directly links to the new Common Inspection Framework and will enable robust quality assurance measures to develop.
The history of RARPA and a myriad of documents and effective practice suggestions are available on the LSC website.
